About Event

Utkarsh is the HR Club of DSIMS serving as a platform to learn the various aspects of HR and how HR can serve as a strategy formulator and drive the company’s strategic plans. The students of Durgadevi Saraf Institute of Management Studies organizes HR Conclave and intercollegiate event HRanbhoomi at their campus. The event invites senior corporate professionals, academicians and management participants from top notch B-Schools to be a part of it and make it a great success. The First half of the event is the panel discussion on the theme: “Redefining HR to enhance organisational effectiveness” The process of Redefining Human Resources requires a commitment to the journey of change. There are numerous obstacles and perils on this journey but the opportunities for revival and future success are well worth the risk. As we establish the importance of HR’s strategic role in supporting the business, the approach towards HR transformation must be redefined. A transformation begins with understanding both the execution expectations and the strategic requirements of the business. This is the main differentiator of the new approach strategically thinking with the end in mind, engaging the business up-front to identify the main business drivers behind the transformation, and ensuring business leadership commitment and support for the transformation. The second half of the full day event “ HRanbhoomi” includes few management games where we test the team management skills, leadership qualities and many more. Management Games are Creative and Mindful expression of Human spirit which comes out through the creation of activity that has an entertaining, flexible, instructive and competing element. HRanbhoomi explores and test participant’s skills, efforts and invites them to develop new ways and managing the obstacles which stops them for attaining the goals. It would also provide an opportunity which would help them increase their capabilities and guide them to develop a better understanding of their own selves.
